Ítem Estudio de viabilidad para la creación de un glamping temático en Duitama - Boyacá.(Universidad El Bosque) Infante Cely, Ana María; Rocha Pimienta, Luis Alfredo; Soacha Garay, Adriana LizethThe purpose of this work is the development of a feasibility study for the creation of a Glamping -word coming from the fusion of two Anglo-Saxon words: camping and glamour- thematic in Duitama, Boyacá. The methodology for the development has as beginning the survey of information about the context of the market, where consultations of reliable sources of information, interviews and surveys were carried out. The information collected was evaluated using the lshikawa diagram, matrix of the 5 whys and cyclograms. Making evident the requirements and trends of the ecotourism sector, focused on the provision of hotel services, for the design of a luxury accommodation system associated with concepts of sustainability. lt was evidenced that there is a tendency of change in the tourist sector with respect to the lodging and activities that fulfill the expectations and requirements of the client, where it is shown that the application of concepts of the Ethnomarketing related to the diverse components of the luxury lodging type Glamping have the necessary characteristics to fulfill the requirements of the studied sector. Taking into account the results of the research, it was found that Glamping is a business that is widely accepted by people and has hada remarkable growth in the economy of the country. A probabilistic sample was made with 407 people where it was found that only 13% have had experience with Glamping and within these, 95% are interested in using this modality again. On the other hand, 80.1% of people who have not had experience related to Glamping are interested in making use of this modality beca use it is innovative and eliminates the discomfort factor of traditional camping. lt is evident that the people to whom this accommodation service is addressed are people with an interest in nature tourism. As a result of the investigation it is evident that the project presents positive viability for the commercial and technical studies, and negative viability for the financia! study with an initial capital investment of $230,135,745, focused on the provision of a service that meets the needs of the market studied and the rules of operational operation.
