This work is an observational analytical cross- sectional study, which evaluates the prevalence of depressive symptoms in medical and environmental engineering students during the year 2019. This work was built in order to identify the prevalence of depressive symptoms in students of Medicine and Environmental Engineer of a university in Bogotá, at different moments of the career. The study was conducted through the use of an endorsed scale, which meets the ethical requirements required for this mental disorder, which would attempt to establish a partnership between depressive symptoms and undergraduate careers.
