    The National Study: Social Representations around Abortion, had the purpose of analyzing social representations about the practice of abortion in Colombia. Methodologically, this investigative study was based on the interpretive paradigm, articulated with the qualitative approach and the survey application technique. At the same time, three categories alluding to knowledge were designed, through 27 questions divided into: Sociodemographic characterization, Knowledge about DSR / Abortion, Ethical dilemmas that revolved around the topic investigated. In this research it was possible to conclude that around abortion there are a number of positions assumed under the social representations attributed to this practice, denoting in the same way the lack of knowledge on the part of some.
