Ítem Prevención de la hipotensión arterial relacionada con el uso de anestesia subaracnoidea en cesáreas. Revisión narrativa(Universidad El Bosque, 2020) Campos Figueredo, Francy Carolina; González Gómez, María Alejandra; Marín Murillo, María Camila; Vásquez Moreno, Ana María; Pérez Hernández, Arlin Martha Bibiana; López Cárdenas, William Iván; Pérez Hernández, Arlin Martha Bibiana [0000-0001-8796-1725]This research was proposed to determine which is the ideal prophylactic scheme for hypotension in caesarean sections related to the use of spinal anesthesia because it is currently the method of choice for caesarean sections due to its high safety profile for both the mother and the fetus. Therefore, we analyze the scientific evidence on the prophylactic use of vasopressors, intravenous fluids such as colloids and crystalloids, and antiemetics. Regarding the methodology, this research is a narrative review whose objective was to locate and retrieve information through the use of tools that allowed the analysis of the available scientific evidence. The results obtained show that the incidence of arterial hypotension cannot be reduced with the administration of intravenous fluids or non-pharmacological measures, which are frequently used in clinical practice, for which the use of other types of interventions are necessary. Finally, the best prophylactic scheme for these patients is the use of vasopressors and phenylephrine is the ideal drug due to its high safety profile at the maternal and fetal level.
