Resumen
Esta investigación se centra en el estudio de las percepciones de los docentes y estudiantes sobre el respeto en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje de la Escuela Colombiana de Carrera Industriales (ECCI), lo cual nos lleva a la profundización en un valor específico que puede ser considerado la base de las sociedades y es el valor del respeto que permea la vida propia y la de los demás, los derechos, la propiedad, el entorno que incluye lo medioambiental y que gracias a él se puede garantizar una sostenibilidad en todos los aspectos.
Se aplicó una encuesta de veinticinco preguntas, a una determinada muestra de docentes y estudiantes de la ECCI, con el fin de conocer las percepciones sobre el respeto en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje, igualmente se realizaron dos grupos focales, uno a docentes y otro a estudiantes, a los resultados de la encuesta realizada en Google Drive, se le realizó el análisis cuantitativo por medio de gráficas y el cualitativo con el Software ATLAS.ti, donde surgieron categorías que permiten observar los resultados, resaltando las percepciones del valor respeto en la Comunidad Universitaria.
Se sugiere profundizar en el reconocimiento de los valores que se refuerzan en las Instituciones de Educación Superior para generar estrategias efectivas que fortalezcan la formación en estos como parte de la construcción del desarrollo moral, dando continuidad a este proceso investigativo.

Abstract
This research focused on the study of the perceptions of the teachers and students about respectful of teaching and learning process at the Escuela Colombiana de Carreras Industriales ECCI, which takes us to the deeping in a specific value that can be considered the base of the society. Also, it is the value of the respectful which goes beyond the own life and the others; the rights, the property, the environment that includes the environmental. Thanks to it, the sustainability can be guaranteed in all the aspects.
A survey of twenty-five questions was applied to a specific sample of teachers and students from the ECCI, in order to know the perceptions on the respectful in the process of the teaching and learning process. There were two focal groups: teachers and students and to the results of the survey did in Google Drive, the quantitative analysis was done by means of graphics and the qualitative was done using the Software ATLAS.ti, where there arose categories that allow to observe the results, highlighting the perceptions of the respectful value in the University Community.
It is suggested to deep in recognizing the values that are reinforced in the Institutions of University Education to generate effective strategies that strengthen its formation as part of the construction of the moral development, giving continuity to this researching process.
