Resumen
La diabetes mellitus es una enfermedad crónica no trasmisible, que tiene como resultado niveles anormales de glucosa en la sangre. Dicha enfermedad posee varios tratamientos entre los que se encuentran toma y/o aplicación de medicamentos, cambios dietarios y actividad física entre otros, los cuales ayudan a que la persona tenga una mejor calidad de vida a la par que trata su enfermedad, esto en pro de evitar que la enfermedad progrese y la persona sufra complicaciones. Sin embargo, debido a que precisamente la actividad física y la administración de los medicamentos están relacionados con la memoria, existe el riesgo que el paciente tienda muchas veces a olvidarse o perder la motivación, por lo cual el objetivo principal que es controlar la patología no es cumplido. No obstante, así como tenemos el inconveniente tenemos la solución, la cual es apoyarnos en la tecnología para poder facilitar el cumplimiento del tratamiento por el paciente y el seguimiento del médico para tratar esta enfermedad.

Abstract
Diabetes mellitus is a chronic non-communicable disease, which results in abnormal levels of glucose in the blood. This disease has several treatments among which are taking and/or applying medications, dietary changes and physical activity among others, which help the person to have a better quality of life while treating the disease, in order to prevent the disease from progressing and the person suffers complications. However, precisely because physical activity and the administration of medications are related to memory, there is a risk that the patient often tends to forget or lose motivation, so that the main objective, which is to control the pathology, is not achieved. However, just as we have the disadvantage, we have the solution, which is to rely on technology to facilitate the patient's compliance with the treatment and the physician's follow-up to treat this disease.
