Estrategias para disminuir las barreras que interfieren en el apego entre padres e hijos hospitalizados en la unidad de recién nacidos

Resumen
El apego se ve interrumpido por diferentes aspectos, entre ellos la afectación de la condición de salud del recién nacido y la necesidad de hospitalización. Una vez en la Unidad de Cuidado Intensivo Neonatal, se generan barreras que impactan negativamente en el mantenimiento del apego como son: factores socio culturales, la presencia de trastornos emocionales en la madre y la relación del personal asistencial con la familia del recién nacido. Este proyecto de gestión del cuidado aborda e interviene las barreras derivadas de la atención asistencial que afectan el vínculo del apego entre los padres y el recién nacido que requiere hospitalización en la unidad neonatal del Centro Policlínico del Olaya, institución que se mantiene en el marco de la mejora continua y que permite el fomento de las estrategias para favorecer la relación de los padres y su hijo desde el enfoque de la humanización. En contribución al desarrollo profesional y el compromiso social derivado del cuidado de enfermería, ante la oportunidad que brinda la institución educativa Universidad el Bosque por medio del trabajo de grado para el programa de especialización en enfermería neonatal nace este proyecto de gestión del cuidado, con la expectativa de responder a la necesidad de equilibrar la ciencia y la humanización en la prestación de servicios de salud de manera específica en la Unidad de recién nacidos.

Abstract
Attachment is interrupted by different aspects, among them the affectation of the newborn's health condition and the need for hospitalization. Once in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, barriers are generated that have a negative impact on the maintenance of attachment, such as: socio-cultural factors, the presence of emotional disorders in the mother and the relationship of the care staff with the newborn's family. This care management project addresses and intervenes the barriers derived from the care attention that affect the bond of attachment between the parents and the newborn requiring hospitalization in the neonatal unit of the Centro Policlínico del Olaya, an institution that is maintained within the framework of continuous improvement and that allows the promotion of strategies to favor the relationship of the parents and their child from the humanization approach. In contribution to the professional development and social commitment derived from nursing care, in view of the opportunity provided by the educational institution Universidad el Bosque through the degree work for the neonatal nursing specialization program, this care management project is born, with the expectation of responding to the need to balance science and humanization in the provision of health services specifically in the Newborn Unit.
