Resumen
“Canto HUITACA” es un proyecto de investigación – creación que busca reconocer la herencia de nuestros antepasados centrándose en los diferentes territorios indígenas y enlazándolos con la música perteneciente al sistema sonoro que le corresponde dentro de nuestro país. Con este proyecto se han realizado exploraciones de saberes ancestrales, sonoras y artísticas por diferentes regiones de Colombia a través de la voz, haciendo de esta el instrumento principal. Canto HUITACA es, además de un proyecto investigativo, un ensamble vocal que hace honor a la figura de la diosa muisca Huitaca, enalteciendo la presencia de la mujer en el arte, la comunidad y la creación. De aquí se desprende el nombre completo del proyecto “Canto HUITACA, la rebeldía del canto con voz de mujer” haciendo referencia a una de las principales características de esta diosa muisca y compuesto por las tres voces correspondientes al rango vocal femenino: Soprano, mezzo – soprano y contralto. Se ubican, para esta propuesta, en dos sistemas sonoros: Andino y Caribe.

Abstract
“Canto HUITACA" is a research-creation project that seeks to recognize the heritage of our ancestors by focusing on the different indigenous territories and linking them with the music belonging to the sound system that corresponds to them within our country. With this project, sound and artistic explorations on ancestral knowledge have been carried out in different regions of Colombia through the voice, making it the main instrument. In addition to being a research project, Canto HUITACA is a vocal ensemble that honors the figure of the Muisca goddess Huitaca, exalting the presence of women in art, community, and creation. From here, the full name of the project "Canto HUITACA, the rebellion of singing with a woman's voice" is derived, referring to one of the main characteristics of this Muisca goddess and composed of the three voices corresponding to the female vocal range: soprano, mezzo-soprano, and contralto. They are located, for this proposal, in two sound systems: Andean and Caribbean.
