El presente trabajo de grado busca cuestionar la naturaleza de las teorías tradicionales de la inteligencia. Me he preguntado cuál es la estructura epistémica de la inteligencia y me he topado con que varias de las teorías de la inteligencia llegan a ser internalistas. En base a esto, la tesis intentará responder la pregunta ¿realmente las teorías internalistas de la inteligencia responderían a una posición epistémica lo suficientemente fuerte para demostrar que su teoría funciona sin dar preminencia al mundo? Así las cosas, argumentaré que hay razones para pensar en la inteligencia, entendida como solución de problemas, en un sentido externalista; esto es, el proceso esencial de la inteligencia ocurre con elementos del mundo. Para un correcto desarrollo, se utilizarán pensadores como Xavier Zubiri, J.R.R. Tolkien y Tim Crane con el fin llegar al punto deseado; a saber, que se puede hablar de una teoría que se base en clave externalista para referirnos a la solución de problemas de la inteligencia reconociendo que el componente esencial del proceso inteligente descansaría en la noción de irrealidad y de mundo.

Abstract
The present degree paper seeks to question the nature of traditional theories of intelligence. I have wondered what is the epistemic structure of intelligence and have come across that several of the theories of intelligence become internalists. On the basis of this, the thesis will attempt to answer the question would the internalist theories of intelligence really respond to an epistemic position strong enough to demonstrate that their theory works without giving preminence to the world? So I will argue that there are reasons to think of intelligence, understood as problem solving, in an externalist sense; that is, the essential process of intelligence occurs with elements of the world. For a correct development, thinkers such as Xavier Zubiri, J.R.R. Tolkien and Tim Crane will be used in order to reach the desired point; namely, that one can speak of a theory that is based on an externalist key to refer to the solution of problems of intelligence recognizing that the essential component of the intelligent process would rest on the notion of unreality and world.
